Bui Huu Hung Foundation Partners with Edge Dwellers: A Celebration of Diasporic Art and Identity

Date

The Edge Dwellers exhibition delves into the intricate themes of diaspora, identity, displacement, and belonging, offering a powerful platform for Asian diasporic communities to share their stories through art. It explores how these communities forge a sense of identity within their new environments, presenting works that embody the hybrid identities of artists navigating diverse cultural landscapes. Through a rich variety of mediums – painting, video, and performance art, Edge Dwellers invites audiences to immerse themselves in the personal narratives and creative expressions of these artists.

Bui Huu Hung Foundation is proud to support the Edge Dwellers exhibition. Running from November 30 to December 6, 2024, at Tree Art Gallery in Paris, France, the exhibition will feature works by Alexandre Yang, Tina Xi, Pinky Htut Aung, and Chongyan Liu.

At the Bui Huu Hung Foundation, we are committed to supporting artistic endeavors that celebrate cultural diversity and creativity. We believe this exhibition offers valuable insights into how diasporic artists navigate and negotiate their cultural identities, blending introspection with powerful storytelling.
